My new PS3
Just got myself one of those playstation 3 gaming consoles and have spend the last 2 weeks testing it out.
The PS3 is a really fun gaming toy to play with, especially if you compare it to other consoles like the Nintendo Wii or the Xbox 360 which are also alright, but far from as interesting as the playstation 3. Especially the playstation 3 Move is really cool. If you are one of the few who still doesn't know what PS3 Move is, I can tell you that it's a wireless system that tracks your body movements in a 3D room and uses your movements to move your charecter in the various games, you can read a more technical description of this gadget over at PS3 Move.
So far I have mainly been playing car games and a few shoot em up, next week I am planning on trying out some of the new adverture games, if I can find some good cheap ones at the the local store where they sell used games. I am especially interested in some of the ps3 spil they just reviewed at PS3 Spil which is friends spil review site, and I am hoping he will lend me a few of the latest games and let me test them for him in return for a little review, I have always wanted to be a game tester, it's been a small dream since I was a young guy.
After this initial testing of the Playstation 3 I would say it's even better to play on than the PC which I normally use for gaming. you don't have to go through all kinds of trouble installing the games, be certain that you got the latest drives, setup the game and video options based on your hardware and all that stuff, here you just insert the disk and click play. Also the controller are much easier to use than the wasd keys + mouse, at least in most games. I am glad I bought this gaming console and I am sure there be a lot of hours of fun playing on it for the next few months at least.
